Once again this year, in cooperation with Mossman Guitars, the Overton
Bluegrass Music Festival offered chances on a beautiful Mossman custom-built dreadnaught guitar that was presented
at the festival. Congratulations to William Kelman of Tonawanda, NY proud winner
of the custom crafted Mossman guitar. The Overton Bluegrass Music Festival expresses its sincere thanks to Bobby Casey
of Mossman guitars, who built this beautiful instrument especially for the benefit of our festival. Featuring
a neck of Lone Star mahogany, back and sides of Santos rosewood, a western red cedar top, and three-piece back with a center
stripe of mesquite from South Texas, this is a one-of-a-kind guitar that anyone would be proud to own. Features
also include an ebony fingerboard, abalone diamond inlays, coil binding, and an abalone sound hole ring. All the wood
on this guitar is at least 50 years old, and some of it may be up to 75-100 years old.
The drawing was held on Saturday, June 12th at 9 PM at the festival.
You were not required to be present to win.
